Suka Island

Suka Island (Pulau Suka in Indonesian) is a pleasant three-hour journey from Singapore, the embarcation point for the majority of our guests. The journey usually involves catching one of the international ferries to Bintan, land transport across part of Bintan and then a high-speed boat trip to the island. Some groups chose to arrive on their private yachts.

Maps

Suka Island is shown by the yellow marker on the google map below. The pink marker shows the location of our sister island, Pangkil. This map is dynamic and you can zoom out and see the island in relation to Singapore, Bintan and Batam.

Suka can also be seen on the second, static map. Note that Binyoso Island (shown as 'P. Binyoso' south of Suka) is one of ours and is Suka's 'picnic island'. Guests are invited to take one of the boats for a picnic on this remarkable, uninhabited island group. Side trips such as this are both encouraged and included in the overall package. Murbai and Lina are also owned by us and well worth a visit.

Operational Travel Details

For those guests familiar with Pangkil, please note that we are experimenting with faster routes to Suka. We have bought a new speedboat called the 'Pattimura'. It has 3x150HP outboard motors and flies ... We will try bringing guests in via Lagoi (on the Bintan Resort Ferry) and then down the east coast of Bintan to Kawal. From here it will be a fast trip to Suka in the Pattimura.
